The Installation of The Very Reverend Randolph Marshall Hollerith as Dean of the National Cathedral
Members of St. James’s Church are invited to attend the installation of Randy Hollerith as Dean of the National Cathedral on Sunday, October 23 at 4:00 p.m. The service will be a choral evensong and the Most Reverend Michael B. Curry, presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, will preach. A reception will follow. If you plan on driving, you can find directions here.
We are able to make arrangements for motor coach transportation from the church with enough interest among parishioners. Charter buses will depart at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 23 following the service of Morning Prayer. The coach will have comfortable seating and an on-board restroom. The cost will be $30 per person and must be paid in full to reserve a seat. We will bring along bottled water and we can arrange for a boxed lunch from Panera Bread ($10/person), if you desire. The return to St. James’s is estimated to be 10:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
Online registration is closed. Two motor coaches have been sold out. Please contact Laura Shuford at 355-1779 ext. 305, for further information about the possibility of being on a wait list for released seats.
