Be Ye Doers of the Word and Not Hearers Only Start Doing

Dylan Mass on March 30, 9:00 a.m.

On Sunday, March 30, at 9:00 a.m. we presented our second Dylan Mass, featuring music by one of America’s most prophetic voices. Musicians include our West Gallery Choir and Guitar ensemble, and musical guest. Bob Dylan’s writings are deeply expressive of the spiritual journeys, intersections and mysteries that are present in and representative of all faithful people. Dr. Mark Whitmire’s commentary on the relationship between scripture and Dylan’s own words can be found here. The Dylan Mass employs a number of his compositions to provide an immediate and modern context to our ancient tradition of the Eucharist.
