Snowfest Retreat 2020: Youth 6th – 12th
February 7, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - February 9, 2020 @ 12:30 pm EST
Who: 6 – 12th grade youth (and awesome adult youth leaders too, of course!)
What: It’s a winter youth retreat full of games, worship, and fun hanging out with new and old friends. On Saturday, we’ll hit the slopes to go skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing. If weather prevents us from hitting the slopes, we’ll instead hit the pool and slides at nearby Massanutten indoor water park.
Where: We’ll stay in Hillside, St. Andrew’s, Vienna and Meade cottages at Shrine Mont (www.shrinemont.com) and go to nearby Bryce Resort (www.bryceresort.com).
When: Friday at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $175 per person (covers transportation, lodging, equipment rental, lift tickets, and food). Scholarships are available. First timers are required to take a lesson that costs an additional $15. Anyone is welcome to take a lesson if they choose. If you own your own ski/board equipment, or you’re going snow tubing, there’s a $30 discount. (FYI- snow tubing is a 2 hour activity so you’ll have some free time in the lodge, while skiers and snowboarders will have 4 hour lift tickets.) All skiers and snow boarders are required to wear a helmet; bring your own or they’re available to rent at no additional cost. Ample scholarship funds are available by emailing Mary Beth.
