Want to run the Richmond Half-Marathon? Want a fun group to do those long runs with you? You should join the Half-Marathon Training Club! The first run will be on Saturday, August 10th and there will be weekly Saturday runs at 7 a.m until marathon weekend. We’ll do the homework and map out the course each Saturday, as well as provide training resources to support you in your other weekly runs. (please note that this is a club and not a program!) There’s no charge, but a group t-shirt will be available, price TBD.
Come and join us and meet some new friends. It doesn’t matter how fast you are, it just matters that you’re moving! You should be able to run 3 miles, 3 times per week comfortably by the time the training begins to minimize the risk of injury.
