Hospitality for Juneteeth

We are very excited to be planning a reception after the Juneteenth musical event! The Evensong concert is from 5-6:15 pm. Our hospitality reception is 6:15-7:30 pm on 6/19/22. We are asking for food donations and help in the kitchen.
Here’s a link to sign up genius, where you can choose a food donation and/ or kitchen helper/bartender.
Here is a list of items that have been previously donated items at the MLK Evensong. Please bring any dish that you want, whether it is on the list or not, keeping in mind that finger foods are easiest to serve.
           Antipasto tray
           Baked sausage and cheese balls
           Cheese biscuits
           Cheese straws
           Cheese tray with crackers
           Chicken salad and rolls or crackers
           Chicken tenders
           Crab dip with chips or crackers
           Deviled eggs
           Fruit tray
           Fruit kabobs
           Grape tomatoes and mozzarella skewers
           Ham biscuits
           Meatballs and sauce
           Mini quiches
           Pigs in a Blanket
           Pimento cheese and crackers
           Smoked Salmon
           Stuffed Mushrooms
           Summer sausage bites & roasted asparagus
           Tenderloin and rolls
           Turkey wraps
           Vegetable tray with dip
           Brownies/blondies/lemon bars
           Sweet breads/ cake slices- such as banana, zucchini, pumpkin spice, pound
           Cookies- such as chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, sugar
If you sign up for food items, in the comment section please name the item, the number of items you are bringing and whether or not the item needs warming “WARM”.  Under quantity,  simply put a 1, for one participant. Be sure to include your name, email and press submit.
If you sign up for kitchen helper or bartender, put any constraints you may have in the comments section, and again put 1 under quantity. We will ask you to arrive about 4:15 to help with arriving food, then send you off for the organ and spirituals performance which begins at five. After the service, please return to help with serving and replenishing dishes. Bartenders could start just after the service.
