Interfaith Dialogue with Congregation Beth Ahabah
We are excited to offer our interfaith dialogues with Congregation Beth Ahabah throughout the program year, rather than simply once per year.
First Session: Let the Good Times Roll!
Monday, February 25
Meal at 6:00 p.m., in the Main Lobby of the Joel House
Dialogue at 6:45 to 7:45 p.m., Valentine Hall
This spring, we have the opportunity to learn about two joyful seasonal festivals: Purim and Mardi Gras (Shrove Tuesday)!
Second Session: Richmond Choral Society concert
Sunday, March 24, Beth Ahabah Sanctuary
3:30 p.m.: Pre-Concert Talk with Composer and Clergy
4:00 p.m.: Concert
Congregation Beth Ahabah and St. James’s are excited to partner with the Richmond Choral Society as they present Yizkor Requiem composed by Thomas Beveridge as a liturgical and musical conversation between Judaism and Christianity. This concert will bring a chorus and orchestra into the historic Sanctuary at Congregation Beth Ahabah.
