Introducing God in Your Inbox for Lent 2016

It has become our custom during the season of Lent to offer a daily email containing scripture, a brief reflection, and a prayer. We call it “God in your Inbox.”

Beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 10, and running through Holy Saturday, March 26, you will receive every day a scripture reading along with a reflection and a prayer from different members of the clergy. This is our sixth year offering “God in your Inbox.” This year, the reflections will focus on the Epistle readings assigned by the Lectionary for Lent, primarily the letters of Paul.

These daily offerings are intended to be a gift, a spiritual opportunity for all of us to pause, to read and reflect on a passage from the Bible and to lift a prayer to God. We have no desire to add more clutter to your inbox. We hope you will find this spiritual offering beneficial, but, if you do not, please feel free to update your profile and modify your subscription with the link at the bottom of the page.

My thanks to all the clergy who are joining me to share their reflections this year: Thom Blair, Bob Friend, Carmen Germino, Caroline Parkinson, and Hilary Streever.

God bless you and may your Lenten journey draw you into a deeper relationship with Christ.
