Sunday School

Our Sunday School classes are divided into two classes–Godly Play and Growing in Faith–that meet throughout the program year in Michaux House from 10:15 to 11 am on Sundays.

Godly Play has been created for three-year-olds through first graders. It includes storytelling, play time and opportunities for wonder. Its mission is to nurture spiritual lives by honoring the centrality, competency and capacity of children.

Growing in Faith is for second through fifth graders. Each lesson is presented for two to three weeks, with the same story looked at through the lens of art, cooking, games, music, science and storytelling. Understanding that each child relates to information differently, this approach offers children multiple ways to connect with The Bible.
