On Sunday, September 27 we will return to our sanctuary for worship with the service in the evening at 7:00 p.m. By that time the races will be over, the streets will be clear, and the parking deck and parking lot will be open as usual. Worshipping in the evening rather than in the morning will provide us with a unique opportunity to take advantage of the evening light and the setting sun. We will hold a very special service of candlelight, beautiful music, ancient chant and the celebration of the Eucharist, all centered around the fourth century monastic liturgy for night prayers called Compline. On this Sunday, there will be no Sunday school or Bible study, just an opportunity to immerse yourself in prayer and worship surrounded by liturgy and music almost as old as Christianity itself. Please come be with us.
