Be Ye Doers of the Word and Not Hearers Only Start Doing

Peggy Seiler

Peggy Seiler went home to her Heavenly Lord Friday, July 5, 2013. Services were held on Friday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Peggy was married to Reverend Bob Seiler for over sixty years and was a stalwart member of the congregations of both St. James’s and St. Paul’s. Full obituary is here.

The Episcopal Diocese said this regarding Peggy:

Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” Seiler, wife of retired priest the Rev. Robert “Bob” Seiler of the Diocese of Virginia, died on July 6, 2013. Mrs. Seiler had a career as an attorney and was an advocate for children and the mentally ill. She was an active member at St. Paul’s, Richmond, and St. James’s, Richmond. Her husband retired in 1989 after devoting his ministry to various organizations dedicated to the underserved in our communities. Mrs. Seiler is survived by her husband, three children and and four grandchildren.”
