Pilgrims Path

Starting the evening of January 10, 2018, St. James’s Episcopal Church will offer our spring semester of Wednesday night programs, beginning with an Evening Prayer service in the Chapel at 5:30 p.m. This is followed by our famous Wednesday night dinners, prepared by our finest cooking teams and served from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Dinner and all programs are held in the Michaux House, our primary education and meeting space on the corner of Birch and West Franklin Streets.

Pilgrim’s Path

Wednesdays, January 10 to April 11, 2018, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Michaux House, Room 302

Pilgrim’s Path teaches participants what it means to be a Christian Disciple. This clergy-led class covers scripture, theology, ethics, The Book of Common Prayer, Christian spirituality, and the importance of outreach and service. Pilgrim’s Path is designed for newcomers, as well as for those who have been at St. James’s for years but want to learn more about what it means to follow Christ. It is required preparation for adults seeking baptism, confirmation, or reception into the church. The curriculum can be found here and an introductory letter from The Reverend Dr. John McCard is here.
