Rev. Blair Continues Bible Study

Reverend Thom Blair, Jr., ret.We are very pleased to announce that the Rev. Dr. Thom Blair is leading the Sunday Morning Bible Study. Thom holds a Ph.D from Duke University and many will remember him as the retired Rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church here in Richmond. Thom is a gifted teacher who has a passion for helping others to see that the teachings of Jesus offer us a kind of north star we can use to navigate stormy, uncharted territory in the journey through an intrinsically difficult world. Rev. Blair has offered a video invitation here.The study group meets in the Parkinson Room under the sanctuary of the church. Durung the spring and summer of 2014, a few dates will not have a Bible Study meeting:

  • April 20 (Easter)
  • May 4 (Bike race)
  • May 18 (Bishop’s visitation)

The Bible Study’s summer schedule will begin Memorial Day weekend – Sunday, May 25 – with the group meeting at 9:00 a.m. before the 10:00 a.m. service throughout the summer except on:

  • June 8 (Founder’s Day celebration)
  • July 13 (Brunch)
  • August 10 (Brunch)
