We are excited to be the new home of Boy Scouts of America Troop 400, formerly meeting at St. Paul’s Church in downtown Richmond. The vestry approved the arrival earlier in the spring and arrangements are complete for the start of the fall Scout year, with meetings in the basement of Michaux House (1133 W. Franklin St.) every month.
Troop 400’s program is designed to help boys learn about leadership and responsibility, to understand the values of the Scout Oath and the Scout Law and to do their best. Meetings will be Wednesday nights and two-day camp outs are scheduled monthly. The first activity will be a demonstration at our picnic, September 11 at Rock Bottom.
