March 30, 2018 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
-1 John 4:10-11
As a member of Stuart Circle Parish Council, St. James’s parishioners and friends are invited to participate in the annual Good Friday Blood Drive, March 30, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1627 Monument Avenue. This is a tangible way to honor the lifesaving grace of Christ’s crucifixion. To schedule an appointment to donate, please contact Victoria Gupton at 239-4044 or email@example.com.
On average, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion, and this is a precious gift that cannot be manufactured but only comes through the generosity of donors. We seek to provide 100 successful blood donations, and we need your help! All support is welcome, and if you are unable to donate yourself, we encourage you to consider seeking a substitute donor or volunteering your time.
Remember to drink plenty of water, eat a good meal, and bring a photo ID. For more information about who is eligible to give blood and the donation process, visit http://www.redcross.org/blood.
