Be Ye Doers of the Word and Not Hearers Only Start Doing

Sunday Adult Education Revised Starting in January

Beginning in January 2015, you will see some changes in our Sunday morning education opportunities for adults. In order to go deeper into certain topics related to faith while also enhancing small group offerings, we will be offering “short courses” between the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services. Short courses are two to three week classes on a particular issue, usually taught by a member of the clergy. In addition to the schedule of short courses offered this spring, The Rev. Dr. Thom Blair will continue to teach his popular bible study between services. From time to time (approximately once a month), we will suspend both the short courses and the bible study in order to come together for a Forum. On Forum Sundays, we will discuss big topics in the life of our church, as well as hear from invited guests who address important community issues. We hope that you will not only participate in worship, but will also plug into a variety of intriguing Sunday educational opportunities.
