Sustaining hope in the reality of climate change: faith communities gather on May 1 and 2 in Washington, D.C.
An exciting opportunity in our region is coming up. The Most Reverend Katherine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, and the Most Reverend Anders Wejryd of the Church of Sweden, are holding a seminar on climate change at St. John’s Church Lafayette Square, Washington DC on May 1st and 2nd.
Bishop Shannon Johnston will be attending the keynote event “Sustaining hope in the reality of a climate change” and hopes that interested members of the Diocese would be able to join him for this part of the seminar on May 1st from 7-9pm at St. John’s.
