For more than 40 years, the Oxford, England based Tallis Scholars have been considered the preeminent performers of the greatest sacred music of the Renaissance era. Their performances also include music written by some of the foremost and most popular composers of today. Tickets at the Episcopal Diocese.
We are indeed extremely fortunate to be able to present the central Virginia concert at St. James’s, Richmond on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so it is strongly recommended you to secure your tickets early, as wider popular demand throughout both areas for these extraordinary concerts is sure to be very high!
The Episcopal Arts Series is intended to bring exceptional performances by renowned performers of music and drama to churches and other locations within the Diocese of Virginia so as to nurture the spirits and hearts of all who attend. The series will be funded by ticket sales, corporate-partner sponsorships and through specially-designated funds held by the Diocese. No income pledged for the diocesan budget will be used for this new series.
The Tallis Scholars certainly offer a most auspicious and rousing beginning for the Episcopal Arts Series. But this can only be realized with you in attendance! Through your support, you will be giving witness not only to the presence and Christian voice of the Diocese of Virginia in public arenas, but also to our strength and reach within our bounds and beyond for years to come as well.
