So Many Ways to Give

We are a community drawn together by our love of God and our desire to serve Christ in the world. Your generosity strengthens our church and fuels our ministries. Only with your financial support can we pray together, work together, learn, laugh, and sing together. It is you, the givers and doers, who empower St. James’s to serve and spread God’s love to each other, our neighbors, and the world.

There are many ways to support St. James’s now and in the future:

Annual Giving

There are multiple ways to support St. James’s 2024 Annual Giving Campaign.

  • Make an annual commitment through your pledge to be paid by December 31, 2024. Your pledge is a financial promise, a commitment to the ministry of St. James’s and an indication of your generosity. Pledges provide the Vestry with an estimate of expected income essential for the preparation of our annual budget.
  • Set up a recurring gift online or through your bank’s BillPay.
  • Make a one-time gift online or via check.
  • Pledge Payments and gifts can me made online, via check, stock, Donor Advised Funds, or Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).

Memorial Gifts

Memorial gifts to St. James’s are a special way to support your church and celebrate the life a friend, family member, or a member of our church community.  Gifts can be made online or via check.

Special Gifts

Make a special gift in Thanksgiving of a birthday, Baptism, Confirmation, wedding, or other blessing online (link to Push Pay) or via check.

Legacy Giving

The health and well-being of St. James’s is built upon the generations of saints in our community who have left a legacy gift intended for the long-term benefit of the church. Join the Whitlock Legacy Society by naming the St. James’s Endowment Fund in your will or other financial planning. Reach out to Grace Barrett at [email protected] to learn more or visit the Legacy Giving page on our website. https://doers.org/giving/legacy-giving/

Stewardship Events

St. James’s has three stewardship events throughout the year that require volunteers to help plan and execute for the benefit of all St. Jamesers.

The Celebration 10/25/23
Mardi Gras 2/13/24
Picnic 6/2/24

If you are interested in joining a planning committee or volunteering at one of these events please reach out to Betsy Lee at [email protected]
