We’ve been parents too, so we know the importance of childcare and nursery services to every young family that wants to get the most out of church. That’s why we’ve put so much care into our nursery services.

We offer care for infants and toddlers in our nursery, located just off the sanctuary, between 8:30 and 11:30 am. Ushers will be glad to guide you. During the 10:00 service, children will be invited to follow the cross to Children’s Chapel after the Gospel reading and will return to their families during the peace. We also invite children to come and sit near the altar rail for a closer view as we begin the Eucharistic prayer. Children’s Chapel and classes take a break in summer, but fellowship opportunities abound.

The nursery is staffed with trained caregivers, three of whom are preschool teachers. Parents are also welcome to volunteer in the Nursery.

If you would like to volunteer in our nursery or participate in our other Children’s Ministries, please see our Serving at St. James’s page.
