Concert for Ukraine

This Friday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m., St. James’s will present an organ recital by Dr. Gail Archer to benefit Ukrainian Relief. Entitled “Chernivtsi: A Concert for Ukraine,” the program will feature selections from her recent CD of¬†¬†contemporary Ukrainian organ music The concert will be free and open to the public. All donations will go to Episcopal Relief and Development – Ukrainian Fund. Our artist, Gail Archer, is donating her entire fee to this cause. Dr. Archer has had a long-time interest in the culture of Ukraine. Since 2011, she has performed each year in Eastern Europe. She has recently been appointed to a faculty position at Columbia University- the leading U.S. academic institution in Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European Studies.
