Junior Youth Fellowship or JYF is our Youth Group for 6th-8th graders.

We meet most Sundays from 10:15-11:00 September to May.

 We Gather – We play lawn games in our classroom as folks arrive. We always eat snack and we celebrate birthdays. It’s a great chance to make new friends!

 We Do Things —JYF looks more like “camp” than “school.” There’s usually an icebreaker or group game to get us started and then we dig deeper into the scripture or theme of that day. We help students think beyond the biblical stories so they understand these questions: So what? What does this mean to me?

We Pray – Before we go, we ALL form a circle and hold hands “right over left.” We say a prayer and close with this antiphon from Compline (BCP p. 135).

We follow all CDC guidelines for COVID-19 and encourage all who are eligible to get vaccinated to do so.
