High School graduation is a huge milestone for youth and the pandemic has significantly disrupted anticipated rituals and celebrations for the class of 2020. For this reason the youth ministry leaders invite all St. James’s parishioners to show our graduates that God and their church love and support them by doing two things:
- Attend our High School Senior Blessing liturgy, online on Sunday, May 31, 2020, for a special liturgy honoring our graduates and their families
- “Adopt a Senior”
- We invite parents of seniors to put their child up for “adoption” and
- Parents will be asked personalized information about their child which will be provided to volunteers.
- Parishioners to volunteer to “adopt” a senior
- Volunteers will pray for their assigned student and assemble a personalized gift to mark this special milestone.
- Lots of details will be provided to volunteers after they sign up.

Please sign up your senior or to volunteer using the links below by Sunday, May 17, 2020
