As you prayerfully consider your giving plan to St. James’s this coming year, please remember that each of us is at a different place along both our Spiritual Paths and Giving Paths.

Search Your Heart

Perhaps your heart is telling you to be a first-time giver. That’s fantastic. Or you’re planning on giving a very specific amount. Great! Maybe you’re a growing giver or a tither. Both terrific. Or maybe, just maybe, you’ve reached the place in your spiritual life where you’ll become an extravagant giver.

Please watch the video below to hear the perspectives of fellow St. James’s parishioners, all of whom are on different places along the Giving Path.

During this time of searching your heart, we encourage you to:

Pray to God to lead you on new steps in your faith journey.
Discover the joy of giving.
Deepen your sense of gratitude and generosity.

A message from our Annual Giving Co-chairs:

We are so grateful for our connection with St. James’s. It’s a connection that has helped our hearts grow, our faith grow, and our Christian family grow. We know that many of you feel the same way, and that you can see how St. James’s has impacted the lives of so many in our community in immeasurable ways.

For our family, an important part of our gratitude is supporting the organization that makes these experiences possible for us and for others. As we at St. James’s approach this important stewardship season, we hope that you too will acknowledge that giving generously is a part of our life in Christ, and is an act of gratitude and trust in our future.

We are all pulled in many directions. There are a multitude worthy causes that we feel drawn to support, from our schools and health-related charities to political organizations and the friend who needs help. We hope that you will prayerfully consider all of your giving, and consider your gift to St. James’s as a representation of your gratitude for all that God and St. James’s does in our world.

No matter where you are along your Pathway to Generosity, we thank you.
