Concert for Ukraine

This Friday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m., St. James’s will present an organ recital by Dr. Gail Archer to benefit Ukrainian Relief. Entitled “Chernivtsi: A Concert for Ukraine,” the program will feature selections from her recent CD of  contemporary Ukrainian organ music The concert will be free and open to the public. All donations will go to Episcopal Relief and Development – Ukrainian Fund. Our artist, Gail Archer, is donating her entire fee to this cause. Dr. Archer has had a long-time interest in the culture of Ukraine. Since 2011, she has performed each year in Eastern Europe. She has recently been appointed to a faculty position at Columbia University- the leading U.S. academic institution in Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European Studies.
