Recovering from Everyday Addictive Lifestyles Program is the Richmond City Justice Center’s (RCJC) premiere program. REAL’s purpose is reducing recidivism through ensuring residents (inmates) are prepared for re-entry into society. The REAL team assists individuals impacted by incarceration, or homelessness, or who are battling addiction and challenged by barriers and obstacles within the community keeping them from a thriving future. Volunteers provide financial and budget counseling, coaching for expectant mothers, Bible study, and friendly support. Team members love preparing dinner with residents of the REAL House and enjoying a meal together. Contact: Nancy Warman, Director of Servant Ministry, 355-1779, ext. 333 or nwarman@doers.org.
